In a bid to get England healthy, families are being offered a range of food vouchers, nutritional advice and discounted activities worth an estimated £250million. A number of companies and small businesses have joined the governments plan to help promote better food choices and exercise.

How to get your £50 voucher

There are a number of ways you can get these food vouchers. Four million £50 voucher books will be available from ASDA supermarkets and in the News of the World newspapers while one million will be handed out through local businesses which have signed up to Change4Life campaign.

There is also a website called the Great Swapathon where families can answer a simple questionnaire to receive their money-off vouchers. The site also hosts a number of healthy recipes and guides to eating right and keeping fit.

There are hundreds of great food vouchers which can be found online many big retailers already offer money off discounts to savvy shoppers looking for a good deal. With food prices set to increase in 2011 it is likely that we will continue to see more and more vouchers of this nature.
